Going out to explore the city with the eyes of a tourist even if it’s your own city is a great way to discover. I’m a true believer of exploring your own city, I don’t think we need to go to a new city every time just to take pictures or try new places. Read More
Each year I try to do something special for my birthday and it always makes me feel so loved. One year my husband surprised me with a hot air balloon ride that was so beautiful that I sometimes tend to daydream about it. Another year I celebrated my 21st birthday in New York, it was an amazing experience because not only was it my very first time that I went to a beautiful city of that size but I was also turning 21 and could finally enter to a bar… lol. This year for my birthday I wanted to celebrate in NYC again as well because I wanted to explore the city a little bit more and also experience the very famous NYC nightlife. Read More
What would a summer be without fresh white clothes? White has and will always be a staple in anyone’s wardrobe. Personally I can’t stop drooling over perfect summery dresses either made out of 100% cotton or fresh linen. This summer specifically I’ve seen lots of white blouses and crop tops as a must. Big sleeves and cute ruffles has been on trend since last year and I’m perfectly fine with that! I think that big sleeves makes any outfit seem more creative and fun.
Spring comes with perfect weather and stunning colors everywhere. I always get very excited to combine clothes with all the colors and textures out there. I know it isn’t hard because you can find new trends at any clothing store. In San Diego which is my hometown, it is very popular to go to the outlets. This time I went to Bloomingdales Outlet at Mission Valley in the hunt for pretty blouses. I found the perfect “ruffle sleeves trend” rack with beautiful blouses at almost any color you can think of. I fell in love specifically with this one because who doesn’t love to show of some shoulder in Spring. I love the colors and the line pattern I think it goes with everything, skirts, shorts or jeans. Definitely showing some shoulder and feeling feminine with ruffles is the way to go this season.
Lately I’ve been into anything red, shoes, bags, sweaters, you name it! The other night while I was in bed trying to read a book on my laptop I got actually distracted and looked at the latest clothing launch from the brand Reformation, as usual. I knew I couldn’t afford anything above $50, which is in fact everything they sell… I know #firstworld problems.
I decided to specifically look for their basic cotton t-shirts because I knew I could maybe, just maybe splurge on that. Then I found the perfect t-shirt with red letters and perfect quote, al dente! I’ve always loved how Italians describe the perfect consistency of cooked pasta, I mean who doesn’t? we can all pretend we actually speak Italian by using this awesome t-shirt.
My husband, his brother and I went to the Encinitas Temple to take these pictures, this place is a beautiful calm and relaxing place where people go to meditate, it is a must if you are ever in Encinitas!
